Taxonomy This record is dubious. It is based on a Table in Samaai et al. where Latrunculia hospitalis is assigned to Maldonado, without indication of which year and in which publication this was described. There is a Sigmosceptrella hospitalis Desqueyroux-Faúndez & Van Soest, 1997 from the Galapagos, which possibly was mixed up with Latrunculia in the Samaai et al. 2006 paper. [details]
