Synonymy The synonymy is here newly assigned because Bowerbank's description and figure do not report the presence of toxas or raphides. By elimination of possible North East Atlantic reprsentatives of Mycale we arrive at Mycale (Aegogropila) rotalis as the most likely. [details]
