Taxonomy Here in Testacea Britannica Montagu is including 'Sabella cirrata' based on the tube. He is aware the worm itself is Terebella cirrata (as it was then known). Later (1819) where he misspells the name as 'cirrhata' he comments "The tube (which is described in Testacea Britannica under the name Sabella cirrhata) is very fragile ..." [details]
