Diagnosis Original diagnosis by Reibisch (1893: 254): "Halyplanes gracilis n. sp. ist außer den in der Bestimmungstabelle gegebenen Merkmalen dadurch characterisiert, daß das zweite dorsale Tentakelcirrenpaar sehr mächtig entwickelt ist (siehe die Skizze). Die Form ist ungleich seltener als Pedinosoma curtum, doch ist die Verbreitung ungefähr die gleiche. Länge 1,6 mm bei 13 Segmenten." [details]From other sources
