Etymology The specific epithet opisthoculata is formed by the prefix of Greek origin 'opistho-', meaning 'behind', 'back' or 'rear', and the Latin word oculatus, meaning 'having eyes', and refers to the two or three pairs of eyes, which are located well behind the prosstomium, at the level of the first chaetiger.
