Editor's comment Claparède's reference to a pink tube, with 7-8 longitudinal ridges and the chaetae are reminiscent of Serpula, not of Hydroides (contra Fauvel, who regards the taxon to be an indeterminable Serpula or Hydroides). [details]From other sources
