Etymology The species is named in honor of Joan M. Uebelacker, whose detailed studies on the Syllidae published in the "Taxonomic Guide to the Polychaetes of the Northern Gulf of Mexico" were very hepful in the preparation of the paper where the species was described. [details]
Habitat Silty and medium fine sand, coarse calcareous sand, and inside a coralline rock from rubble and pavement zone. [details]
