Etymology Not stated, unclear. The specific epithet pascua could be the feminine form of the Latin adjective pascuus, meaning 'of or for pasture' or 'grazing', and coud refer to the habitat of the species, as the holotype was collected amongst the Laurencia zone of a dead coral reef. It does not seem to refer to Easter ('Pascua', is Spanish), as the species was collected the 17th March 1972, while in the same year Easter was in the 2nd of April . [details]
