Nomenclature Quatrefages used his new genus Oria as a place to assign Fabricia (Amphicorina) armandi Claparède, reserving Amphicorina, which he had used informally several years earlier without naming species, for his own set of new species. This was not possible as Amphicorina Claparède was valid and has priority as the genus for Claparède's species 'armandi'.
