Taxonomy Tetraglene was a new name for a syllid stolon with four enlarged eyes. Pseudosyllis is presumed to be the matching atoke described in the same work (Grube, 1863). Trypanosyllis was the former 'senior' synonym fide San Martin (2003), although this was against ICZN priority protocols. [details]
