Taxonomy: Subfamily: Eusyllinae, according to Trott (2004). [details]
Validity: Among Amblyosyllis, only A. formosa and A. madeirensis are clearly valid, all the other species (apart fo A. rhombeata Grube, 1857) are possibly synonyms of these two. [details]
