Homonymy Petaloclymene Augener, 1918 is listed in the print Nomenclator Zoologicus (p.676), in Zoological Record for 1918 (Link to ZR Petaloclymene listing, p.24) in the Hartman (1959) catalogue (p.464), and in the Fauchald (1977) guide to genera (p.41). However, Green (1997:235) created a junior homonym to it, as yet unreplaced. There appears to be no published comment on the homonymy [as at November, 2017). Petaloclymene Augener, 1918 is not known beyond the original occurrence and is probably indeterminable. However, Petaloclymene Green cannot be used. [details]
