Description Colour in life: disc blood-red with radial shields the same colour, arms basically blood-red with a lighter pattern distally, also with pale transverse bands superimposed on this distal linear pattern, ventrally the arms paler, oral shields not white, but with a very broad red band that may cover up to half the oral shield (Sloan et al., 1979). Description: as for O. septemspinosa, but bright red with pale bands on the arms (Richmond, 1998). [details]
