Taxonomic Remark: The relationships between Geophilus fucorum, Geophilus gracilis (G.fucorum seurati), Geophilus algarum & G.algarum decipiens probably require further work. [details]
Taxonomic Remark: The record of Geophilus algarum from NW England (Bagnall, 1917)is not of this species according to Eason (1961) and the specimens were possibly immature Strigamia maritima. [details]
