Abstract
    Until now the genus Calappa in the Mediterranean sea was represented by Calappa granulata (L., 1758). With the present paper, two new species, Calappa rissoana and Calappa tuerkayana and Calappa pelii Herklots (1851) too, are signalled in such basin.
