Status Sometimes regarded as a synonym of L. octona. However, the latter species does not occur in the region of P. pugetensis. It could belong to any of the various Leuckartiara or Halitholus species of the Puget Sound. Is thus potentially a name that will come into use again, but currently it is incompletely known. The specific association with a fish permits to identify it though. [details]
