Hydrozoa note details
North Atlantic from Denmark Strait, east of Greenland, northwest of Iceland through Faroes-Hebrides area to Norway and Rockall. Along the Norwegian coast the species is common in depths of about 40 to 400 m, frequently found together with the bankforming scleractinina Lophelia pertusa. Type locality: Norway.
