Description Cell body broadly ovate, strongly contracting anteriorly to form a distinctly convex shape. Cells 38–45 μm long, 36–40 μm deep. Epitheca not visible from side view. The body is a little longer than it is broad. Three well developed sulcal list ribs; R3 curved posteriorly, R2 and R1 anteriorly. Upper cingular list directed anteriorly and lower cingular list laterally. In dorsal view, both hypothecal plates are convex (Shin et al., 2004).  [details]
