Taxonomic remark Geminaricta was synonymised with Bolivinella by Hayward and Poignant (1985). Its type species Bolivinella virgata was placed in the new genus Inflatobolivinella by Hayward (1990) but not as the type species of Inflatobolivinella. Hayward (pers. comm. 2018) believes B. virgata is sufficiently different from the type species of Inflatobolivinella to be placed in a separate genus and Geminaricta is therefore reinstated for this.
