Diagnosis Early stage close coiled and evolute, followed by uncoiled, rectilinear stage with flattened or triangular to quadrangular section, chambers broad and moderately arched to distinctly equitant; wall agglutinated, with organic inner layer, thick, simple, and nonlabyrinthic in structure; aperture terminal, ovate to round, located at the midpoint of the chamber face.
