Diagnosis Test elongate conical to subcylindrical, very high trochospiral coiling, commonly with more than four whorls that increase slowly in diameter, spiral side conical, numerous chambers forming a high cone, sutures oblique, thickened, and elevated, central area on the convex umbilical side filled with pillars connected by perforate umbilical plates as in Lockhartia, the pillars ending in pustules at the surface, interspersed with pores; wall calcareous, perforate, surface with raised and limbate sutures and pustules and may be reticulate.
