Diagnosis Test elongate, chambers low and cylindrical, gradually enlarging as added, sutures straight and perpendicular to the long axis of the test; wall calcareous, radial, surface with longitudinal costae over the lower part of the chambers but smooth above an abrupt shoulder; aperture simple, rounded, terminal on the smooth and slightly convex upper surface.
