Diagnosis Test discoidal, proloculus followed by enrolled undivided tubular second chamber, early one or two whorls streptospiral, later somewhat irregularly planispiral, with up to five whorls in the adult, evolute; wall calcareous, recrystallized but probably originally porcelaneous, surface with numerous transverse growth constrictions; aperture at the open end of the tube.
