Diagnosis Test small, subspherical with blunt to rounded poles, up to twelve involute, planispiral whorls, septa short and thick, incipient primary transverse septula broad and short and do not connect to the parachomata, no axial septula and no secondary septula; wall thick, of tectum and thick alveolar keriotheca, parachomata broad and low, foramina at the base of the septa.
