Diagnosis Test enrolled in the early stage, later uncoiling, early whorls slightly streptospiral, later planispiral and evolute, chambers slightly inflated and wedgelike, sutures depressed, septa thickened, especially in the apertural region of the rectilinear chambers, where they may be up to four times the thickness of the outer wall; wall calcareous, thin, and undifferentiated, granular, fibrous, and perforate; aperture simple and basal in the enrolled stage, later areal and rounded, terminal in the rectilinear stage.
