Diagnosis Test enrolled, sides flattened, periphery broadly rounded, early whorls streptospiral and forming a ball-like central region, later whorls increasing in height, becoming planispiral and evolute; wall calcareous, dark, finely granular, single layered, secondary deposits present as small rounded chomata at the margins of the aperture; aperture a low ovate basal opening.
