Diagnosis Test elongate, subfusiform, high spired, chambers elongate, slightly inflated, rapidly enlarging and strongly overlapping, four to five per whorl, sutures depressed to flush; wall calcareous, hyaline, finely perforate, optically granular, surface smooth and may appear polished; aperture in the shape of an inverted T, one slit extending along the base of the apertural face and from its midpoint a broader slit extends a short distance up the apertural face, bordered on each side by a narrow rim, a narrow internal toothplate arising from the distal margin of the aperture extends within to attach at the previous foramen.
