The article gives a description of a new species and some species from the Lower Menilite suite of the Eastern Carpathians rarely mentioned in literature. The described complex of foraminifers can be compared with the Upper Eocene and Oligocene complexes of the Soviet Union and Western Europe, which gives the possibility to determine the age of the Lower Menilite suite.
