On the basis of morphological characters and aperture features of these specimens, three new species are described Luxapertus wenganensis, Luxapertus sphaeroidolis and Luxapertus papillaformis for the representatives of possible early stage Protozoa on Earth. The discovery is not only enriching content of Wengan Biota but also providing evidence for possible Protozoa in it. As a general rule, Foraminifera appears in Cambrian, the discovery of a suspicious Foraminifera from Wengan Biota suggests an earlier origin.
