Systematic descriptions of the calcareous foraminifera (excluding Nodosariidae) from the Kimmeridge Clay of Dorset (England) are given. Variation studies on the most common forms, here referred to Eoguttulina, show the difficulties in applying Cushman and Ozawa's classification of the Polymorphinidae to Jurassic members of the family. Four species are described as new.
