Diagnosis Test enrolled, with tightly coiled streptospiral early whorls, final whorl with chambers rapidly increasing in height, the final chamber occupying nearly one-half the test diameter, septa short, strongly oblique; wall calcareous, thin, dark, microgranular, no secondary deposits; aperture basal and simple, at least in the early stage.
