designated by Schlüter et al. (2012: p. 19) [details]

Type locality: Stated to come from Maastricht, Netherlands, but this seems unlikely due to the fact that sediment as attached to the surviving syntype is unknown from the Maastricht area (Jagt, 2000: p. 230). [details]

Type material: Two syntypes were available originally. One is lost, the other one housed at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University, Germany under the repository number RFWUIP 1335. [details]
