Named after Cassandra of Troy, depicted in the myth of Hecuba and Priam’s family as the odd sibling. Kassandrina malayana comb. nov. is an odd Cassidulus. Spelled with an initial “K” so that the type species abbreviation can be distinguished from the old combination.
