Description Cross-section: lnternal view. The internal surface is more or less covered by calcereous skeleton supports forming pillars from the upper to the lower side, thin lamellae or needle-like structures like stalagmites and stalagtites. The arrangement of these processes may allow the grouping of this large, heterogeneous genus.
Scale 20 mm.
