Editor's comment Necessary combination if Ampharetides Ehlers, 1913 is a synonym of Terebellides and T. vanhoeffeni from deep water Antarctica is distinct from T. stroemii [Norway]. Alternatively Ampharetides vanhoeffeni could be regarded as incertae sedis. [details]
