Diagnosis Test elongate, cylindrical, base tapering or broadly rounded, early chambers strongly overlapping and increasing rapidly in diameter, later ones enlarging more slowly and less closely appressed, final chamber may be somewhat inflated, sutures straight, horizontal, flush; wall calcareous, surface smooth; aperture terminal, radiate, or may be rounded with numerous radiating slits.
