Nomenclature Costa & Christoffersen (2017 not Code published) suggested replacing Psamathinae as a subfamily name because Psamathe was not the oldest genus name in the subfamily, but this proposal did not taken into account ICZN Article 64 (choice of the type genus - any valid name, not necessarily the oldest name), and should be disregarded. Psamathinae remains as the subfamily name.  [details]
