Taxonomic remark valid species accoridng to Victor Alekseev (in email dated 2022)
Dear Chad,

I consider Paracyclops orientalis a valid and distinct species (and Paracyclops fimbriatus orientalis its synonym). In his guide of 1999, Karaytug synonimized this species to P. fimbriatus, but I do not agree with it, besides he did not study the type material that I have.
I've been meaning to tackle this issue for a long time, but never got around to it. After your reminding, I will definitely do it in the nearest time.
