Additional information Species inadequately described as C. bissextilis, reported from Québec, Canada by Willey, 1925, was synonymized with C. crassicaudis by Gurney (1933). Note, that Dussart and Defaye (2006) erroneously listed Cyclops bissextilis Willey, 1929 (similarly Dussart, 1969) as a synonym of Diacyclops crassicaudis brachycercus (Kiefer, 1927), in addition they referred it to the paper by Willey (1929) instead to Willey (1925).
