Holotype Dolphin of 1.3m captured near Montevideo, Uruguay by M. de Fréminville. Skull reported by Hershkovitz (1966)to be in Paris Museum but not found in review of Paris collection by Robineau (1989). Holotype may no longer exist. [details]
