Status Ponder & Lindberg (2020) does not recognize Sepiolida at the rank of order, but as a suborder Sepiolina of the order Sepiida. This is the current hierarchy in WoRMS. Bello (2020) in does use the rank (order) Sepiolida but does not discuss it in the context of the broader classification of the Decapodiformes. [details]
