Editor's comment: As well as Pisione, the other minor genera apparently belonging in Pisionidae (Anoplopisione, Fauveliella (synonym of Pisionidens?), Pisionella Hartman, Pisionella Aiyar & Alikunhi [homonym], Praegeria (synonym of Pisione), Pisionidens, and Sylloides) have here been moved to Sigalionidae. Caveat: Norlinder et al's 2012 examination was restricted to characters of Pisione and Pisionidens. [details] | |||||||||||||
