Distribution Central America: Mexico (Isote Cave, Guerrero State) [details]Habitat Type material (Guerrero State, Mexico) from a freshwater pool in a limestone cave at 1650 metres above sea level, 176 km from Pacific Ocean. St. Vincent specimens found in a spring pool in a Colocasia swamp at c. 415 m [these moved to a new species by Conde-Vela, 2017]. Cuban specimens from a subterranean river in sand and fine gravel.
