According to Hatai (1940, p. 345, p. 369) some specimens (e.g., those of Jackson, 1916) are attributable to genus Pictothyris, whereas other Laqueus pictus specimens (e.g., those of Davidson, 1887) are synonymous with Laqueus rubellus. [details]
