[details]Validity Described by Czerniavsky from the Crimea region, Yalta bay, approximate coordinates 44.48°N 34.17°E, and Hursuf Bay, approximate coordinates 44.84°N 34.28°E. The combination is invalid on account of having four names (ICZN art. 45.5). Van Soest (2024: 43) proposed to assign the specimen to the subspecies H. alba subsp. albapontica nom.nov. [details]
