Diagnosis Thalassometra with cirri 17, of 31-38 cirrals, from 0.25 to nearly 0.33 of arm length. Arms 11; secundibrachials 4(3+4). Aboral surface of brachitaxes ossicles thickly beset with excessively fine spines often in irregular bundles; spines more scattered in central aboral portion of proximal brachials; triangular and succeeding brachials with very fine spines on entire aboral surface, becoming longer on slightly produced distal border. No long curved spines near distal edge of brachials. [details]
