Etymology Epithet paromolos is a noun in apposition from the Greek meaning ‘nearly equal’ and refers to the pinched, asymmetric inner margin of the sub unit 1 palea. [details]Habitat Treptopale paromolos is often found amongst coral rubble on muddier sands of intertidal reef flats, from sand and seagrass flats and coral rubble associated with Halimeda algae, corallines and encrusting sponges from LWS to 30 m. [details]
