Status: Banse (1977) reduced Knox and Cameron's Notophycidae to a subfamily in Nereididae and placed Notophycus as a synonym of Micronereis. Fitzhugh (1987) included Micronereis in Nereidinae, effectively synonymizing Notophycinae into Nereidinae (fide Bakken & Wilson (2005)). [details] | |||||||
