Bowerbank listed this name in the 1861 list without description or any further information. Later (1862, 1864) he used the combination Polymastia robusta, which he substantiated in 1866 with a description and in 1874 with illustrations. Only recently, Polymastia robusta was accepted as a junior synonym of Alcyonium boletiforme Lamarck, 1815 (now Polymastia boiletiformis). [details] | |||||||
