Checked: verified by a taxonomic editorAuthority Perrier (1869, p. 163) gives de Bl.[= de Blainville] as author, mentioning an "Echinometra violacea" by de Blainville. We could not locate this in a published source before Perrier (1869) and think that he may have referred to a museum name. [details]
